Yay!! Something I actually like for once. I can't believe how much work I put into this, I redid this pic 3 TIMES! Which is odd because if I can't get something right the first time, I end up throwing it away. But this is one of my favorite things to depict
My first two attempts was watercolor on ordinary watercolor paper
[link] which really sucked, but the one above I decided to use gouache on colored paper, which made me very happy. The first two pictures were totally screwed up because I did minimal planning and everything, but then I decided to buckle up and actually WORK on a picture for once. So, yeah.
Oh and if you were wondering, these are the NORTHERN (or southern if you prefer) lights, not a waterfall which some people thought that it was that I showed it too.

Andthe fact that it's watercolor gouache makes it pwn on many levels all the more X33333
although sometimes I can't work with its opaque properties on painting people (cuz it covers up all the lines I've made), so I mostly use ordinary watercolor. But for everything else...there's gouache.
